Srinagar, Sept 12: A policeman was injured after militants on Sunday fired upon a police party in Khanyar area of downtown Srinagar.
Quoting a senior police officer, news agency GNS reported that the injured cop identified as Arshid Ahmad was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
