Dar-ul-Khair to extend helping hand to needy people

On the directions of its incarcerated Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, the volunteers and activists of Dar-ul-Khair Mirwaiz Manzil have started collecting essential commodities for ensuring the families affected by the ongoing situation have all necessary items on Eid-ul-Azha.

On the directions of its incarcerated Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, the volunteers and activists of Dar-ul-Khair Mirwaiz Manzil have started collecting essential commodities for ensuring the families affected by the ongoing situation have all necessary items on Eid-ul-Azha.

A spokesman of Dar-ul-Khair Mirwaiz Manzil in a statement said their office bearers after collecting essential items from the donors and contributors were handing them over to the respective Masjid Committees who will handover these items to the needy and the deserving.

According to the statement, one of its committee is also distributing the essential items among the injured admitted at Srinagar's two main hospitals – SKIMS  Soura and SMHS Hospital besides their attendants.

Meanwhile, the spokesman appealed the well-off people who have been contributing to help the poor and needy by assisting Dar-ul-Khair  "by way of contributing monetarily as well as by other means to come forward and do more for this great cause."

Appealing the people in rural and far off areas to contribute rice, vegetables and other eatables, the spokesman asked them to contact Dar-ul-Khair Mirwaiz Manzil over phone numbers 2420161, 2429813 and 9419017890.
