Continuing with its efforts to eradicate drug menace from the society, Police De-addiction Services (DDC) PCR Kashmir conducted school mental health programme at Hanfia Islamia High School, Noor-bagh here.
The organizers said the objective of the programme was to provide insight to the students about the seriousness of drug addiction.
Starting the session, Dr. Shaila Shiekh spoke about drug addiction scenario in Kashmir and the treatment facilities available at Police Drug De-addiction Centre, PCR, Kashmir. Counsellor Ghulam Rasool Dar highlighted causes and consequences of addiction. He also spoke about preventive measures and the role of Jammu and Kashmir Police in the prevention of drug menace
