The deputy commissioner Srinagar Syed Abid Rasheed Shah-led screening-cum-coordination committee on Thursday cleared seven cases pertaining to victims of militancy-related incidents, for exgratia relief.
A statement issued said six cases were cleared for cash compensation of Rs 4 lakh each and one case was cleared for grant of ex gratia relief of Rs 4.96 lakh. One case was cleared for compassionate appointment under SRO-43/1994.
The meeting, which was also attended by ADC KK Sidha among others, discussed a total of 10 cases.
