A film ‘Poet of Silence’ portraying life and works of renowned Kashmiri poet Rahman Rahi will be premiered on 6 February.
The film will be screened at Tagore Hall at 2 pm. Bilal A Jan who has directed the film said the focus is on the legendary poet’s illustrious works.
“We have dramatized Rahi sahab’s poems to give a real touch of his poetic art as his poetry dealt with human predicaments,” Jan said.
Jan said the film is produced by Films Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
He said entry for the film screening is free and urged maximum people to attend the showcasing of the film.
