Three structures including the Bait-ul-Hilal orphanage were partially damaged in a fire incident last night in Jawahar Nagar locality of Srinagar.
GNS news agency, quoting an unnamed police officer, said that fire broke out in Bait-ul-Hilal last night.
The report said that the fire was brought under control by the fire service department.
“In the incident, two houses and Bait-ul-Hilal were partially damaged. “The cause of fire is being ascertained,” he said.
All the persons, including the students, were evacuated to safety, he said.
