Government on Tuesday released Rs one crore in favour of commissioner, Srinagar municipal corporation, for utilization under project implementing unit (PIU).
An order, issued from the housing and urban development department, read, “Sanction is hereby accorded to the release of funds to the tune of Rs 1 crore in favour of commissioner, municipal corporation Srinagar for its utilization under the project implementing unit (PIU) SMC component-Ill of JTFRP during the year 2018-19.”
As per the order, the amount shall be drawn in advance by director finance, H&UDD by debit and placed the same at the disposal of commissioner, SMC, in his official bank account.
