Residents of Khayam area here have decried improper sanitation due to dumping of garbage and debris on the road there.
A delegation from Bilal Colony Khayam said garbage, debris and construction material has been dumped on the main road opposite Khyber Hospital.
“Construction of shopping complex is going on main road and debris and garbage has been dumped there. This hampers pedestrian and vehicular movement. The problem is compounded as ambulances carrying patients bound for Khyber Hospital also get stranded in traffic jams. “We urge the SMC commissioner and SSP Traffic to look into the matter,” it added.
