Srinagar Oct 15: Police on Friday said that the "killer" of a probationary police inspector who was shot dead in Srinagar last month has been killed in a gunfight with security forces in Bemina area of Srinagar.
"Killer of martyr PSI Arshid killed in Bemina encounter," IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said in a statement.
Arshid, a resident of north Kashmir's Kupwara, was shot dead on September 12 in Khanyar area of downtown Srinagar. The footage of the attack was also caught on a CCTV camera.
