New premises of Sheikh Dawood Medicare centre inaugurated

New premises of Sheikh Dawood Medicare centre, a unit of Khidmat Khalaq foundation was inaugurated at Bazar Batamaloo on Friday.

The management of the Sheikh Dawood Medicare centre said it will provide medical facilities like medicine pathological tests, ECG on reasonable prices to the general public. “Apart from the tests, the centre has a Khidmat Medicate operating which provides all medicines to people at reasonable rates,” it said.

   

General Secretary of the foundation, Shahid Hussain Mir said that their motive is to provide yeoman’s service to the society. “We are striving hard to provide the best healthcare facilities to the people at most affordable rates. Earlier our centre was situated in the interiors of the Batamaloo now we have shifted near to the main market, where people from far off areas can easily get access to our centre.”

“In future, we are planning to start a dialysis centre which too will be operated on no profit basis,” he said adding that Sheikh Dawood Medicare Centre is a medi-concern of an NGO Khidmat Khalaq Foundation Batamaloo. Renowned figure of Batamaloo, late Peer Jalal u Din alias Lala Sahab was the founder of the foundation and its life-long chairman.
