A petrol bomb was hurled at Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bunker at Jawahar Nagar area here on Monday evening, however it exploded off the target.
CRPF spokesman in Srinagar, Sanjay Sharma said that unknown persons tossed a petrol bomb at the CRPF bunker at Jawahar Nagar that missed the target and exploded a few meters away from the bunker.
“No injury was caused in the explosion,” he said. Meanwhile, CRPF men launched massive area domination exercise in a bid to trace the “attackers.”
