Police on Tuesday said it saved a precious life by shifting a pregnant woman to maternity Lal Ded hospital here.
A statement said police received information that a pregnantwoman, residing in uptown Chanpora area has developed pain and needs immediatemedical attention.
Subsequently, a police party from police post Chanporaheaded by DO Chanpora rushed to the spot and evacuated the woman to the LalaDed Hospital for treatment. Locals have applauded the efforts of police forprompt response and assistance in a crucial juncture.
