A police public meeting was held at police station Nowgam which was chaired by SDPO Pantha Chowk
Police in a statement said the meeting was attended by the citizens of the area including members of civil society committees of Kenihama, SK Bagh, Ganjipora, Syedpora and Sheikh-ul-Alam Colony Nowgam, Dangerpora, Chattergam and Suthsoo Kalan Wagora.
“In the meeting, officers sought cooperation from the participants in maintaining peace and tranquility in the area.
Various issues regarding social and public grievances were raised by the participants. The officers present on the occasion assured them that issues pertaining to police will be redressed shortly and rest will be taken up with the concerned quarters for their early redressal,” the statement said.
