As a part of its public outreach programme, Srinagar Police organized police public meetings at Police Station Nowgam and Police Station Soura, a police spokesman said.
He said that themeeting at Police Station Nowgam was chaired by SHO PS Nowgam. Respectablecitizens of Lasjan and Summerbug villages of Nowgam Srinagar participated inthe meeting. At Police Station Soura the meeting was chaired by SHO PS Soura inwhich respectable citizens including representatives of Sabzi Mandi participated.
During these meetings various issues were raised by theparticipants. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuineissues pertaining to police will be resolved on priority.

MEET AT KANGAN
Meanwhile, Ganderbal police organised a Police CommunityPartnership group meeting at Police Station Kangan. The meeting was chaired bySHO Police Station Kangan, the spokesman added.
“Respectable citizens including traders association andtransporters of Kangan market participated in the meeting. The aim of themeeting was to interact with the locals of area and seek cooperation for smoothconduct of Amarnath Yatra,” the spokesman said.
“Various issues with regard to SANJAY 2019 were discussedduring the meeting. Other issues related to police were also raised byparticipants. The chairing officer assured them that their issues will beredressed on priority,” he said.
