Farmers affected by proposed construction of Semi Ring Road today staged protest at Lal Chowk here to press for resolution of their demands.
“Government is not listening to our genuine demands and is trying to snatch our land and property for meager compensation. National Highway Authority (NHAI) should pay us similar compensation which they pay in other states,” they added.
