Several residents of Nawa Kadal area in Downtown today said that many landlines are not working from past over a week in the locality.
A delegation from the area said that despite complaints, BSNL authorities have not restored the landlines. “My landline 2429899 is not working from last over a week. Despite complaints, the number has not been restored,” said Syed Hussain Hamdani a residents.
Many residents of the area said the landline services were affected in the area after the recent snowfall.
PRO BSNL Masood Bala said that landline services in several areas was affected due to heavy snowfall. “We have started restoration work. If any landline is not working, they must register their complaints on our customer care numbers or contact main BSNL office. We are committed to provide uninterrupted to our valued subscribers,” Bala said.
