Residents of Shah Hamdan Colony Zakura have expressed resentment over water shortage in the area from past several days.
A delegation from the area said that water supply has been affected from lane no 5 to 9. "In absence of water, we face immense problems," they said urging chief engineer PHE to look into the matter.
Mean while, another delegation from the area led by Javaid Ahmad said that one transformer caters to 200 families in the area.
"The transformer is not able to provide power supply to all consumers and most of them receive low voltage particularly in lane number two, three and four," they said.
"We appeal PDD higher ups to direct concerned officials to install one more PDD transformer in locality for smooth supply of power to consumers," they said.
