
State Institute of Education (SIE) Kashmir today organised a programme for children between age group of two to 13.
In a statement, objective of the programme was to apprise them about the need to remain alert to "the type of malicious people looking for opportunities to abuse and exploit them."
"Children were given firsthand experience about the first aid and disaster management," the statement said.
On the occasion, director school education Kashmir, GN Itoo, welcomed the event saying it is the need of the hour.
He lauded the efforts of Dr Rabia Naseem Mughal, Rubeena, Ifath, Sabahat, Javid and Mir Shabir for their research in this regard.
A signature campaign was also started to make kids personal safety education as part of associated curriculum,' the statement added.
