Srinagar Municipal Corporation today said it conducted extensive sanitation drive at Hajj House Bemina here.
SMC spokesperson in a statement said machines includingwater sprinkle vehicles and compost vehicles were pressed into service. 30sweepers have been deputed at Hajj House to take up cleaning drives regularly.Meanwhile, the spokesperson said a demolitiondrive was held at Rawatpora Barzulla under the supervision of Commissioner SMCKhurshid Ahmed Sanai and Chief Enforcement Officer Mudasir Banday. Thestatement said an anti encroachment drive was also taken up at Barzulla wherein all the encroachments and street vendors were dispersed off.
