Srinagar Police has established a helpline for the elderlycitizens of the Srinagar district.

The initiative has been taken with an aim to reach out to thesenior citizens of  District Srinagar whodon’t have anyone around in these testing times.

   

“They can call Srinagar Police on the given numbers for anykind of help, so that they are not forced by the circumstances to move out oftheir houses in search of essentials,” a police handout reads.

The elderly residents can call on 01942477100 (DPL Srinagar), 9419000453(DySP DAR Sgr) and 9697452268 (LO DPL Sgr)

“Srinagar Police is committed to reach out to the people indistress. DySP DAR Srinagar has been appointed as the nodal officer forDistrict Srinagar,” the handout reads.

The handout reads that large number of senior citizens must befacing difficulties in meeting out their basic needs in the times of a globalcrisis emerged in view the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown in City Srinagar.

“District police Srinagar is committed to reach out to thepublic. They can call on the given numbers for our assistance,” thehandout reads.
