Residents of Khonakhan Dalgate have expressed concern over presence of large number of stray dogs in the area.
A delegation from the area said that stray dogs have bitten many people including children in the locality in past several days.
“Due to presence of stray dogs, our children are afraid to venture out. We make a fervent appeal to SMC commissioner to look into the matter and shift the stray dogs from the area to dog sterilisation facility at Alestang at the earliest,” the residents said.
