Srinagar, July 3: Residents of Shivpora area here are facing acute shortage of drinking water from the past over a week.
A delegation from the area said that in absence of regular drinking water supply, they have to fetch water in bottles from other areas. “We have been craving for drinking water for over a week. In this scorching heat, we face immense problems to fetch water from other areas. We make a fervent appeal to Chief Engineer Jal Shakti to look into the matter,” they said.
