4th phase of panchayat polls: Rajouri, Poonch again witness heavy voter turnout

In the fourth phase of panchayat elections, voting for which was held on Tuesday, heavy voter turnout was witnessed again, similar to the first three phases.

In the fourth phase, voting was held in Doongi and Qila Darhal blocks of Rajouri district and Poonch block of Poonch district. 

   

As per details, in Doongi and Qila Darhal blocks of Rajouri district, 82.25 percent and 81.14 percent of voter turnout respectively was registered. 

In Doongi block, 17678 out of 21494 votes were polled, while in Qila Darhal block, 9940 out of 12251 votes were casted.

Meanwhile in Poonch district, where elections were held in Poonch development block, 82.47 percent voter turnout was witnessed.
