Army flags off capacity building tour of youth to New Delhi

Army today flagged off ceremony of capacity building tour of youth of Shopian and Kulgam to New Delhi. 

“Army is continuously making efforts to synergize with locals by reaching out to them regularly to create an environment of trust and peace. In continuation of same, a capacity building tour to New Delhi is being organised by Behibagh Army Camp for the youth of Shopian and Kulgam districts which was flagged off by Commander 2 Sector RR,” Army spokesperson said in a statement.

   

“Commander addressed the students and exhorted them to make best use of this opportunity,” he said.  

“Such exposure to vast employment opportunities outside the state of Jammu and Kashmir will surely make a positive impact on the young minds,” he said.  

“He also encouraged them to see places of historical importance along with places of learning and experience the vast culture of this great nation. The ceremony culminated with refreshment and kit distribution to the tour participants. The students were very excited and showed great enthusiasm in the event,” the statement said.
