This refers to recent lengthy assembly elections in J&K under Indian constitution. People from different spheres of life were having many apprehensions about elections and people's participation in it. These apprehensions forced some political participation, and some political parties to show resentment over the decision of holding elections in the state. Similarly, in both the fractions of Hurriyat joy prevailed as they foolishly expected that there will be a complete election boycott. But that was not the case as people came out to vote. Some people blamed media for biased pictures and reports of previous phases. But all became clear in the last phase of election.
