Lt Governor Girish Chander Murmu has appointed Baseer Ahmed Khan as his fourth Advisor.
As per the orders issued by the General AdministrationDepartment (GAD) after consent from LG Murmu and approval from Union HomeAffairs Ministry, sanction has been accorded to the appointment of Khan asAdvisor to assist the Lt Governor.Khan’s appointment will be effective from thedate he assumes charge. His appointment will be governed by the terms andconditions as are applicable to other Advisors in terms of Government OrderNumber 44-GAD of 2020 January 8, 2020. Pertinently, Bashir Ahmed Khan retiredfrom the post of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir where his services wereextended.
