DC Kupwara approves 190 cases under HADP

Kupwara, Jan 19: In a significant move towards the development of agriculture in the frontier Kupwara district, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan on Friday chaired the District Level Committee (DLC) meeting on Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP).

At the outset, the DC took brief on the headway achieved in projects being covered across the district by Agriculture and allied departments, under HADP.

   

The meeting also conducted a draw-of-lots for selection of applications received under different components including establishment of Nursery for Kashmiri Lal Mirchi, Diversification of Niche Crops (Kashmiri Lal Mirchi), Hi-tech Polygreen Houses, Low cost Polygreen Houses, Bee Colonies, strengthening of existing Bee Keeping units, Beekeeping equipment manufacturing, establishment of facilitation centres for migratory beekeepers, Millet Restaurant, Brush cutter, Battery operated Sprayer, Power Tiller, Maize Sheller and other components.

Finally, the DLC selected 190 candidates through a draw of lots under different projects/ components of HADP.
