Democracy alive in India: Farooq

After Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa resigned on without facing floor test, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah on Saturday said the development was a win for democracy in India.

“This shows that democracy is alive in India,” DrFarooq  said. “There is a need for all secular forces to come together to fight for restoring the credentials of all democratic institutions across the country,” he added.

   

“We should all work towards strengthening the democracy and that will be our real works towards strengthening our nations,” Dr Farooq said. 

He also congratulated the Congress president Rahul Gandhi. GKNN
