Former J&K chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday said that Union finance minister has assured her that Centre would re-examine the decision declaring J&K Bank a public sector undertaking.
Taking to social networking site,Twitter, Mehbooba said that she spoke to Jaitley and told him that the decision will lead to further alienation in the state.
“Spoke with @arunjaitley ji about the intrusive and regressive move to declare J&K Bank as a PSU. This decision will add to the woes of the state and alienate them further. The FinMin assured that the government will reexamine the matter,” Mehbooba wrote on her Twitter handle.
