JKNPP blames govt for deteriorating security scenario

The activists of Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today staged a strong protest demonstration and tried to gherao the residence of Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, over the deteriorating law and order situation in the state, especially after the Sunjwan militant attack.

The protesters, led by former minister and JKNPP chairman, Harsh Dev Singh, assembled near the residence of Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, where they held a strong protest demonstration raising slogans against the government over deteriorating law and order situation.

   

While speaking on the occasion, Harsh Dev said that the government has failed on all fronts and frequent militant attacks on security forces indicate the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.

He said that BJP has no moral authority to represent Jammu as it has surrendered before the PDP and has forgotten all the issues concerning Jammu just for the sake of power.       

He also demanded the resignation of the Dy CM as well as the BJP MLAs for maintaining stoic silence while the anti-national slogans were raised on the floor of the house.

Harsh said that the frequent terror attacks on the camps of the security personnel had rocked the entire state and shaken the belief of the civilians on the present regime.

Paying homage to the martyred brave hearts of 36 Brigade Sunjwan besides conveying sympathies to the bereaved families, he said that the Indian Army had once again proved its mettle by foiling the terror attack and eliminating the JeM militants to avert the possibility of a heavy casualty.

Rajesh Padgotra, Gagan Partap, Parshotam Parihar, Khajoor Singh, Mohinder Singh, Nirmal Kishore, Rohit Sharma, Vajinder Singh Deepu, Anoop Singh,  Vishav Singh, Shankaar Singh Sanju, Rashpaul Singh, Amandeep, Anil Rackwal, Joginder Singh besides others were present on the occasion.
