District Magistrate Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary today issued an order for suspension of all the arms licenses valid for Kargil district or Jammu and Kashmir state or all India with immediate effect. Through the order license holders have been directed to immediately deposit the weapons with the concerned police stations.
The weapon holders havinggranted license by the district magistrates of the other districts or by theHome department and putting up in Kargil district shall also deposit weapons inthe concerned police stations with immediate effect.
