Members of a family from Margan village of Darhal today blocked road near DC Office Complex Rajouri over yesterday’s land dispute clash in Margan village.
As per reports, some family members of a family from Margan village assembled on main road outside DC Office Complex and blocked road for traffic.
Later, senior officers rushed to the spot and interacted with protesters who alleged that people from another family attacked them and assaulted them mercilessly.
“Some of our members were assaulted with sharp edged weapons and all limits of humanity were crossed and accused also called some of their relatives from another village to assault them ” they alleged. Protesters also alleged inaction on the part of police.
Later senior police officers including DySP HQrs Rajouri reached the spot and assured them of action.
Meanwhile, among the eleven person injured in clash yesterday in Margan village over land dispute, two of the injured having critical injuries were referred to GMC&H Jammu.
