Lashkar-e-Toiba claims Hajin army camp attack

Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba has claimed responsibility for the last night attack on an army camp in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

In a statement issued to GNS news agency, Lashkar-e-Toiba spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi said that the outfit carried out the ‘fidayeen attack’ on army camp in Hajin.

He claimed killing of three soldiers in the attack. However, police and the army said no loss of life took place.

A group of militants opened fire and lobbed grenades on the army’s 13 RR camp. A police station and a camp of Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police are located inside its premises.
