MoU inked between SKUAST-K, IIM Jammu

Srinagar, Mar 22: To promote collaboration, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir and Indian Institute of Management, Jammu today signed a memorandum of understanding for Academic, Research and Entrepreneurship development.

The MoU was signed by Professor B.S Sahay, Director Indian Institute of Management, Jammu and Professor Nazir Ahmad Ganai, Vice Chancellor SKUAST-Kashmir.

   

Officers and faculty from both the institutions were also present during a brief signing in ceremony held at SKUAST-K.

The memorandum of understanding aims at developing strong cooperation and collaboration in the areas of academics, research, executive education, management development programmes, faculty development programmes, skill development programmes, innovation and entrepreneurship and massive open online courses

IIM Jammu and SKUAST-K shall allow sharing of term credits in MBA programme as per NEP-2020.

Further, IIM Jammu will support SKUAST-K’s Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship Centre by way of pre-incubation trainings, mentorship and conduct of hackathons and awareness programmes.

Speaking on the occasion, Director IIM and Vice Chancellor SKUAST-K expressed the hope that the MoU shall foster higher level of interaction between the two institutions leading to better performance in all the mandated activities and in turn promote growth and development in the region.
