A Muharram procession was taken out at Khanqah-e-Sokhta, Nawa Kadal in Downtown.
On the occasion, senior Hurriyat leader and Islamic scholar Moulana Abbas Ansari threw light on the life of Hazrat Imam Husaain (RA) and Karbala Martyrs.
It was followed by Alam procession which was taken out from the shrine of Hazrat Syed Muhammad Mosvi (RA).
Ansari urged people to participate in 8th Muharram procession which is scheduled to be taken out from Guru Bazar and will culminate at Hyderiya Hall at Dalgate,. He will be leading the procession.
