Alamdar Memorial College of nursing and medical technology (AMCONMT), Charar-e-Sharief, Budgam celebrated its maiden annual day at Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora. AMCONMT is a constituent college of IUST.
Vice chancellor IUST, Prof Mushtaq Siddiqi was chief guest on the occasion while as Principal Madr-e-Maherbaan institute of nursing sciences and research college of Nursing, SKIMS Dr Mehmooda Regu was guest of honour.
Other dignitaries who were present at the occasion included dean academic affairs IUST Prof A M Shah, registrar IUST Prof Farooq Ahmad Mir, Principal AMCONMT HassinaWani and senior nursing officials from SKIMS, principal government college of nursing Srinagar, Princiapal Syed Mantaqi Memorial college and faculty and students of nursing colleges of IUST.
At the occasion, toppers of last year examinations were given trophies and certificates. A lamp lighting session and oath ceremony was also held by nursing students. The first annual college magazine, “Reshmol” was released by the VC in presence of the participants.
