A Power Development Department (PDD) dailywager died due to an electric shock in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.
Reports said the victim, Mohammad Ramzan Lone (50), a resident of Nowpora Wagoora was repairing an electric wire at New Colony Sopore when he received the shock.
Lone was shifted to Sopore Sub District Hospital where from he was referred to Srinagar, but he died on the way.
Reports said Lone was working with the PDD from last 30 years as a daily wager.
