Radio Kashmir goes off air due to technical snag

Radio Kashmir Srinagar today went off the air for several hours due to technical snag

An official of the Radio Kashmir Srinagar on condition of anonymity told news gathering agency KNS that the Radio Station went gone off the air at about 11:37 am today as the 300 kilowatt Narbal transmitter developed a technical snag.  

   

Director Radio Kashmir Srinagar, Syed Humayun Kaiser told KNS that fault at the Narbal transmitter caused  disruption of broadcasting services at Radio Kashmir Srinagar and consequently all programmes are being broadcasted from FM station. An official of the station said the services were restored at 7.30 pm.
