Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Thursday assured the legislators from Karnah Kupwara about the construction of tunnel at Sadhna Top.
This was disclosed by Raja Manzoor who along with MLC Javid Ahmed Mirchal met Singh in New Delhi and apprised him, about the difficulties people face in absence of proper connectivity.
“Center government has assured us that the tunnel is in their priority,” Raja Manzoor told Greater Kashmir over phone from Delhi.
In January this year 11 people were killed when an avalanche hit a passenger vehicle, triggetring protests in the area while demanding the construction of the tunnel near Sadhna Top.
