Srinagar: With an intent to challenge norms and champion women’s empowerment in motorsports, JK Auto X Women, the first-ever women-only Autocross event was held in Kashmir by JK Motorsports Federation in association with FMSCI (Federation of Motorsports of India).
A statement said that in a field that has been traditionally dominated by men, women in motorsports are proving their mettle and breaking barriers. Women have also made significant contributions to the industry in motorsports.
Many female drivers are leading the way to top the charts and making their presence felt in the racing world. These women are blazing a trail for others and challenging the status quo.
At the event, Chairperson FMSCI Sita Raina along with top women racers Aman Jubal and Muskan Jubal were present at the event to support and give some tips to all the participants.
At the end of the event, Shivani Mir from Kashmir bagged two trophies for the 1st and fastest women racer of JK Auto X 2023.
