Srinagar Youth Football Championship concludes

Srinagar, Nov 27: The heart of football enthusiasts in Srinagar echoed with cheers and applause today as the final match of the Srinagar Youth Football Championship unfolded at Bakshi Stadium.

With the conclusion of this highly anticipated championship, local talent and the spirit of the game took centre stage in a thrilling showcase of skill and determination. A statement said that this was a unique event where both girl’s and boys’ championships were organised simultaneously. The participant teams, having navigated through a challenging tournament which started on 14 November, left no stone unturned in their pursuit of glory. The energy in the stadium was palpable as supporters from both sides created an atmosphere that added to the spectacle.

   

 

The girl’s championship was participated by six teams and the final was played between Kashmir Arrows and KIC Budgam. The boys’ championship was fought between sixteen teams and witnessed fierce competition and the finals were played between SCFA, Srinagar and Ganderbal FA.
