Former minister and senior JKAP leader Usman Majid today condemned the killing of three civilians in cross-LoC shelling in Kupwara district.
“I condemn the killing of three innocent civilians andinjuries to many others in the persistent shelling from across the border inChowkibal area of Kupwara district. I extend sympathies to the bereavedfamilies and pray for peace to the departed souls. This war cycle will not leadus towards anywhere. It will yield only death and destruction. I appeal formaintaining peace on the frontiers,” Majid said in a statement.
