Congress President Sonia Gandhi and two senior Union Ministers on Wednesday visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences at New Delhi to inquire about the health condition of J&K Chief Minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed.
Sources told Greater Kashmir that Gandhi visited AIIMS in the evening and spent some time with the Chief Minister's family, including the Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti.
Earlier in the day, Union Finance Minister ArunJaitley and Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu visited the Institute to inquire about Sayeed's health.
The Chief Minister was flown to the AIIMS on December 24 after he developed health problems following his day-long tour of Srinagar on December 22.
Sources said the Chief Minister's condition was "critical" and is being "regularly monitored by a team of specialists."
