The Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani strongly condemned the killing of a civilian in Pulwama and called for complete shutdown in entire South Kashmir on January 21 (Thursday), against it.

Paying rich tributes to the slain militant, Geelani said: "The militants are happily and consciously adopting this path of bravery, but killing a civilian by opening fire on protestors is the worst example of the state-backed terrorism which won't be tolerated."

"If Indian forces are committing genocide of Kashmiri youth, the state police is not allowing us to mourn the deaths of our loved ones and are showering bullets on the mourners," Geelani said.
