In a statement the Chairman SEECC Abdul Qayoom Wani said: "These elements' were busy in organising a parallel cosmetic show under the patronage of DSEK. In case such a thing takes place, the SEECC shall announce a strong protest at any time for which all the central, Provincial, District, Zonal level leaders have been directed to remain ready to meet any eventuality as per past practice," Wani said.
Wani expressed deep regret and said, "On one side Director School Education Kashmir calls for setting issues through negotiations and on the other side pursues policy of divide and rule. SEECC never runs away from negotiations, but when it comes to the trade union existence we won't hesitate from offering sacrifices even of service and life."
He said SEECC was a strong and vibrant platform comprising, teachers forum, lecturers forum, Principals forum, school education officers forum, non-teaching employees forum, Rehbari Taleem Teachers Forum, Tahreek RET Forum, Class-IV Employees Forum, Contingent Paid Employees forum, SBM and KGBV Gender Co-ordinators employees Forum and play a vibrant role and have worked for the existence of the department rights of employees and bright future of students.
"All of us have always believed and preferred the resolution of issues through negotiations and has always stood against all the anti employee move especially of those having the government patronage of which every employee irrespective of caste, colour, region, religion is well aware," he said.
Wani expressed happiness on the stay granted by High Court on the screening test of distance mode degree holders.
The petition was filed by Teachers Forum through Pervez Ahmad Parray office bearer of Teachers Forum (Zone Narbal). "The High Court has done justice and upheld the integrity and honour of teachers for which all the leaders of teachers forum and SEECC and teachers deserve appreciation," the hand out adds.
