The Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani, who was rushed to SK Institute of Medical Sciences here on Saturday morning for a health check-up, is keeping well. In its health bulletin, a spokesman of Hurriyat (G) said: "Syed Ali Geelani is doing well, but he was referred for a routine check-up at SKIMS."
The spokesman thanked all doctors who attended to Geelani and who visited voluntarily for his routine check-ups.
"Geelani's sons Nayeem-u-Zaffar and Naseem-u-Zafar, and Syed Umar accompanied him to SKIMS. A few days back Geelani Sahab complained of chest pain and cardiologist Dr Sheikh Burhan was consulted. He suggested few investigations which were done at SKIMS and later found satisfactory."
Geelani has personally thanked SKIMS Director Dr AG Ahangar, the spokesman said.
