Divisional commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Khan said: "All educational institutions, including schools, colleges, private schools, will remain closed on Friday."

Meanwhile, class-work at the University of Kashmir shall remain suspended on 13th October (Friday), a KU spokesman said.

"However all examinations shall be held as per schedule," he added.
