Protests were held in Kashmir, including summer capital Srinagar, after Friday prayers against the US decision recognizing disputed Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
In Srinagar, protests were held by the activists of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) in Maisuma locality located in the commercial hub of Lal Chowk.
The protesters were carrying placards and banners seeking revocation of US decision and intervention of the international community.
In Hasanabad locality of Srinagar, a huge rally was taken out against the US decision.
The protesters set to fire the effigy of the US president Donald Trump and shouted slogans like 'Death to America' and 'Death to Israel'.

Scores of people held a protest demonstration in Dawar area of Gurez after Friday prayers, denouncing the US decision. The protestors, amid slogans against Trump administration, marched from Jamia Masjid to Tehsil office Gurez.
