An official said two suspects were seen moving near corps battle school near Keri after which the army and police jointly launched a search operation in the area.

The operation, he said, lasted for several hours during which the forest area near an army establishment was searched.

The search operation lasted for more than four hours during which door-to-door searches were also conducted. The operation was later called off.

Meanwhile, another search operation was launched by Rashtriya Rifles battalion and the police in villages including Loha Katha and Parran near Line of Control in Pir Badesar area.
