Srinagar, June 11: Twenty seven persons were arrested and a fine of Rs 11.14 lakh recovered from 6729 people for lockdown violations across Kashmir on Friday, Police said.
A statement of J&K Police issued here said that 27 persons were lodged under 20 FIRs and a fine of Rs 11,14,800 was realized from 6729 people throughout Kashmir for violating the various guidelines, rules and SOPs regarding Covid-19.
The statement said that six vehicles were also seized for violating Covid-19 norms in Bandipora district.
